1-2% comment to views ratio has been my experience as well. I like to think that the story is SO immersive, people just want to click next chapter instead ::crying-laughing emoji::

Early on when I began writing, I noticed that a new story would get avg 1 review for about every 100 reads (per chap or one-shot story).

I'm in the same boat with Treedweller -- I KNOW I should review every chapter I read, but when the story is so GOOD... I just click NEXT. :))

SOME authors need to stop writing Marvel fanfiction on AO3 and come back here to finish their abandoned HP stories!!! Says I... Please...

Is the tagging system easy to use when you're publishing works? Wondering if I should write something and fear of tagging issues is holding me back...

don't always review. I know we should, but it may be a sign that your story is just to good to interrupt. And I do apologize for not reviewing every chapter I read. I just can't stop!!!

Dear Authors, I am guilty of not reviewing every chapter I read. That is because I am too into the story to stop: I just want to keep going. Don't be discouraged when readers

Apprentice, from what I understand, "Favorites" allows you to receive emails when there is an update to a story; "Tracking" allows you to keep track of it on the site without email

Hi, I've been reading stories for a long time, but now I registered. Now I'm wondering: what is the difference between tracking a story and adding it to favourites?
