Summary: Send Harry to another school... any other school, Muggle or magic. It's your choice and it doesn't have to be a central part of the story, but it would be nice to see Harry at other places now and again.

Summary: In HBP Snape used the killing curse on Dumbledore while Harry was demobilized. What if Harry had somehow broke free and rushed to Dumbledore’s aid right as Snape was casting the curse. What if Harry was hit instead?

Summary: Snape decides to remove his childhood enemy's blood from Harry in order to reclaim a part of Lily. He uses either a spell, a potion or combination of the two to suit his ends in removing and replacing James Potter's blood with his own.

Must Have:
  1. Lily in some form giving Snape permission to do this.
  2. Snape changing Harry's name and Harry being called by this name throughout the story
  3. Confrontation between Potter, Harry and the new self with Potter losing.
  4. Some time spent at Spinner's End
  5. One of the following:
    • Good but misguided Dumbledore/Evil Voldermort
    • Evil Dumbledore/Less evil Voldermort
    • Evil Dumbledore/Good Tom(Voldemort)
  6. Snape bringing Harry over to the side of Voldermort.

Bonus Points
  • Snape convincing Harry that his life as a Potter has been misremembered in some fashion or that he was always his son.
  • Harry willing or unwittingly going along with what Snape is doing
  • Either potions, spells, charms or other means being used to keep Harry from doing his best in classes

Adopted Nephew Potter by Lianne

Summary:

Snape has a female Muggle cousin of about the same age he is. They were once quite close but in his teens they started to grow apart and Severus is now trying to repair some of the damage. The cousin is unable to have children, so she decides to adopt a 7-10 years old boy from an orphanage. What a surprise it will be for Severus when he discovers that his new "nephew" is in fact the Boy-Who-lived Harry Potter!

It is up to you to decide whether the cousin has a husband or a boyfriend, and whether Harry has a past as an abused child (he was put with the Dursleys at first).

Summary: Snape tries to pull Harry out of the way of a cauldron explosion - but instead the two end up attached by the wrist, elbow, or forearm.

Preferably Fourth Year or older Harry to avoid lots of leaning over on Snape's part. Should last at least 24 hours.

Summary: When Umbridge comes to inspect Snape's potions class, the two professors are hit by a potion caused by Harry's cauldron exploding. The end result? Both personalities have been altered to that of their A Very Potter Musical/A Very Potter Sequel counterparts.

*Bonus points if Draco and/or Dumbledore are also hit.

Summary: All the Potter twins (Sarah and Harry) wanted in their life was to be loved. When September draws near to a month's time and the letters are never opened, Dumbledore sends Snape to investigate. He discovers their home life, changing everything he ever thought about the children of his best friend and the man who supposedly stole her away.

Must have:
One of the Potter twins is sorted into Gryfinndor, the other into Slytherin.
New names for the children after they learn Snape is their biological father.

Summary: Somewhere in the story, Severus Snape hugs/holds Harry Potter (NOT slash). You decide what events lead to this and why he's holding Harry (out of compassion? a bomb's exploded? they are apparating together? etc.). Snape MUST remain true to canon in personality (or, if he changes, the change and cause for it must be clearly shown in the story, and still he can't change into another person entirely). Also, the phrase "unto thou a virgin is borne" must appear somewhere in the story in whatever guise you choose. Lastly, another character from the HP world must make an appearance, preferably in a humorous sort of way. Good luck!

Summary: Harry has a great deal placed on his shoulders, being The Boy Who Lived, and knowing that he is to die. Somehow, he learned that pranks are a great way to help him deal with everything and Dumbledore allows it. Are his pranks mean or merely annoying? Eventually Harry decides to distract himself by pranking his most difficult target: Severus Snape. Will he succeed? Will he get caught? What can Snape do in retaliation if Dumbledore allows it to happen in the first place?
