Roommate Wanted by chrmisha

Summary: Harry advertises for a roommate / flatmate in a Muggle newspaper (either anonymously or under a fake name). Severus replies (either anonymously or under a fake name). Or vice-versa with Severus advertising and Harry replying.
  • What does the ad say?
  • If fake names are used, what are they and how were they chosen?
  • Why is Harry (or Severus) looking for a Muggle roommate?
  • What happens when they realize who each other is?

Summary: When Harry is hit with the killing curse by Voldemort for the second time (in the final battle), something unexpected happens. What is it?

This something, whether immediately, or sometime after the fact, causes Harry to disappear (kidnapped? vanished?) or go into hiding or leave the Wizarding World of his own free will (you decide).

Somehow, a female character(s)--Hermione, Ginny, and/or Luna--drag(s) Snape into the mix of looking for Harry. Why are they trying to find Harry? Why is Snape needed? How does she manage to convince/bribe/coerce him into helping?

Should include guest (or more) appearances from Ginny, Shacklebolt, and McGonnagal.

All characters must be kept IN character.

Tobias' care by Sevie Prince

Summary: After OoTP Harry is taken from the abusive Durlsey's care by either Dumbledore in secret or the Muggles police or somehow else and now he has to live with his biological father - Tobias Snape.

He can also be taken there by Dursleys, who somehow find out about it.
    Contains:
  • Tobias is alcoholic, and hasn't had contact with Severus.
  • Severus hates Tobias.
  • Tobias hits and neglects Harry (but doesn't torture him)
  • Harry is allowed to run wild.
  • They often haven't enough money ( harry cant acces his valut)
  • Harry become friends with some other poor, neglected teenaged boys, and they hang out, maybe have parties and drink beer.
  • One day Snape meets a bruised Harry and his father in a shop. What he's going to do? Snape must be canon! Snarky, bitter etc.
  • If Snape takes Harry, he can't have too much authority over Harry

Summary: Lily is still alive but won't have anything to do with Severus. Soon her child is about to start Hogwarts. As Harry's teacher, Severus can either soften Lily's heart through Harry's adoration of a favourite professor, or force her to come to school through Harry's bad behaviour. Which does he pick? If he picks the latter, how does he engineer Harry's mischief? Can he do both? Does he feel anything for Harry or is he using him? Snape must be manipulative.
