True Colors Are Beautiful by Song of the Sea
Summary: Lily, James, Sirius, Remus, and the rest of the Order of the Phoenix learn how much they've actually hurt Severus when they see him expressing his true emotions.
AU where the Potters survive Voldemort's attack. Ship: Severus x Aurora Sinistra Rules: Severus has to sing or do something creative that helps him express emotions. Severus doesn't know anybody's watching him until it's too late or he finished the activity.

"The scars of my soul, I'm no longer whole. Searching for peace has left me in shambles."

Lord Severus and Lady Aurora Ravenclaw-Prince (nee Sinistra) and their son, Lazuli Acheron (Harry Potter) were happily living together, since Lazuli was four, with the expectation of another on the way when they receive word that the Potters were alive.

This conflicts both Severus and Lazuli because on one hand, they're happy to see Lily again, but Severus felt betrayed by her ever since their 5th year and finds it hard to forgive her.

Will Severus and Lazuli eventually forgive Lily and James and let them into their lives, or shut them out?
