Series Summary: Entry for the Winter fic Fest 2015. A series of five short stories composed of five chapters each. They take place after The Half-Blood Prince and deal with angst and guilt and a developping relationship between Harry Potter and Severus Snape. The series is an answer to JA Worley's challenge "One shot season". The promps will be detailed at the end of each story. The winter theme will be most prominent in the last story of the series, "Chills Part V: Chills dissolved". There is a quite substantial amout of angst, but for those who have the patience to read until the fifth part, there is some fluff at the end.

Harry is lost in the Forbidden Forest when he goes looking for Neville’s Remembrall after Draco steals it from the boy once again. As Harry wanders the forest, wondering if he’ll ever make it back to Hogwarts, the entire staff is sent out to look for him, including a much peeved Severus Snape.

Curious, and more than a little frustrated by the fact that Dumbledore and others are keeping him in the dark about everything, Harry takes a peek into Snape’s Pensieve. Instead of learning the truth about what he’s certain is being kept from him, Harry learns that his father is every bit as conceited as Snape had claimed that he was, and that he’s more like Snape than he is his own father.
