Hello everyone!

We just want to wish everyone a wonderful rest of the year and a Happy New Year!

Also if you have a holiday story we can't wait to read them...however we didn't do a fest so just go ahead and post any stories you have. Anyone have ideas for fests next year let us know.

Maybe some kind of Renewal, or Resolution themed fic fest?

Ideas for fests I'd like to see and or participate in:

Summer Fest:

- Ideas include the main characters going somewhere during summer holiday, attending summer school at Hogwarts, going to summer camp (I'd actually really like to see a story about some kind of magic summer camp), getting a summer job, running away during the summer, solving a mystery during the summer... just some ideas for a summe themed fic fest.

Back To School Fest:

- Maybe we could do something fun with it like have prompts for one or more of the main characters returning to school for the new school year in an unusual way, or perhaps they come back and the school has changed in an unusual way?

Perhaps, in addition to those already suggested (which all sound great!), there could also be a good old fic exchange, if enough people were interested?

Since April has Easter, maybe we could have a fest for April that focuses on a scavenger hunt of some kind? Inspired by finding eggs during Easter, but far more open-ended as it can be any sort of "finding objects around Hogwarts" story? Potions ingredients for being up to no good, someone has taken and hidden belongings to be tracked down, everyone's class textbooks have vanished - anything! I think it could be a lot of fun.

I love the idea of a fanfic exchange, it would feel like CHRISTMAS IN JULY (<-- badly wants to call it that) but perhaps one with multiple options?
