Fun read! Thanks so much.
I was unsure about this story at first. I wasn't sure I would like the character of Severus but this turned out to be a great story! So glad i kept reading! Thanks so much for this even though it's been years since you completed it.
I think they are too immature and simple for 12 and 13-year-olds. A 10-year-old's mind is even more complicated than theirs. Perhaps they'd be more rageous but they should be able to hide their feelings and thoughts better. I'm not far away from 12 and 13-year-old. I know what it's like. They still wear masks in front of people and their minds are more complicated than you think. Also I don't think how one thinks depends on his or her body's age. It depends on the memories and experiences. With everything Severus and Harry'd been through, I imagine they would be like 16 and 35-year-olds stucked in small bodies. It's the experiences which build up who they are and how mature they are, not their ages. Younger ones seem to be less mature because they mostly haven't been through as much as the older ones. Severus and Harry here just feel wrong. Well, these are just my opinion. Overall it's a good story and I like the idea of them getting what they deserve at last, a proper childhood/teenage-hood. :)
""Two feet?" many students protested. Severus and Harry were among them.
"Or better, three?" Hagrid wondered loudly. Suddenly, many students started to race to the castle, shouting sentences like, "Two feet, Professor Hagrid; see you next week!" over their shoulders."
That was hilarious. Hagrid is catching on to this 'teaching thing'. lol.

Oh THEY chose who Severus could and couldn't be friends with... hmmm. interesting. Looking forward to Severus's response to that.

Very happy one boy was expelled.
Albus did a good job here. He let Severus down too many times before, it was time for Albus to do right by Severus.
Alastor loves them both and parents (me!) tend to overreact at times (me? never!...lol.) and that is a failing we do have. It truly is because we are so scared for them. -sigh- Parents aren't perfect, just like kids aren't.
I think Harry and Severus sharing a room with the other a study room is very good idea.

Leroy and Greg will get what's coming to them. Bullies always do... though sometimes it takes forever.
Glad the brothers made up. Love these two as siblings. Wonderful dynamics in this fic.

Man, Severus had a ROUGH first day! Thank you Minerva for the rescue. lol.
I just want to hug Harry and pinch Severus for being so mean. Whew. Poor Harry, my heart aches for that child.
