Technically, shouldnt Vernon's screams have woken Harry up? The blood wards if they let a snake in could have let Voldys corporeal form in too... A little plot hole that is not gone about well.

I remember the clutch-accelerator problem that I used to have when I was learning car. I also had a huge problem with steering since I was never very sure of the size of the car and the space it needed to move. :)

Great chapter; I loved your portrayal of Severus- he's very true to canon but you've emphasised his more likable characteristics and that, along with Albus' machinations, really endears Severus to the reader and makes them feel thoroughly sorry for him by the end of the fic. The other characters were also very well depicted, with great charater interaction throughout and I loved all the twists and little glimmers of humour. Well done ^^
