The block party sounded like fun. Too bad Harry got into trouble for using the bouncy house. Since that was there for the kids and others were using it, it seemed a bit much for Snape to scold Harry for using it. Snape is really being protective. I wonder what the golden thing that Harry saw was? Something to do with the spell Snape put on him? Looking forward to finding out.

Author's Response: Snape is all sorts of unfair, but Harry could of got hurt in the bouncy house, and I think that is the point. :) Thanks for your reviews!

Hmm...so I've been rereading ever since you updated and I think I missed the part about the 'gold thing' that catches Harry's eye the first time I read. I'm very curious about what it is and I'm really hoping that Voldemort hasn't caught onto where he is. I hadn't really thought of that as a possibility for this story because of how far away they are, but I suppose it could happen. That or American wizardry is monitoring them because of their use of magic in their country. I hope we hear more about it soon.

    -P.G.

    Author's Response:

Ah, you noticed! :) I put hints of things in every once in awhile. I'm sure the hints would work better if I updated more frequently, but you should learn about the gold thing next time. That is, if it works out right. Snape has some unfinished business from the last chapter, which may take over and make itself a new chapter. I'm not sure what Snape's after yet, we'll have to wait and see!

They are pretty far away from Voldemort, but there may be other people they should be watching out for. In any case, not all is as it seems.

    Thanks for your comments!

Remember how I wanted to pop Snape? Well now I REALLY want to pop Snape. He took Harry out of the Bouncy Tent! Harrumph! I don't care how much he cares, it was a Bouncy Tent! You just don't leave those until the guys running the thing start to threaten to drag you out. It's the law, or at least a really strong rule. It was a fantastic chapter, and I hadn't realized I was 3 behind so I STILL have one more. I wonder where Snape went while Harry was playing. This story is so much fun!

    Author's Response:

Yes, Snape apparently never played in one when he was a child. I will try and add it in the sequel at some point if I can, only Hogwarts style.

Snape went for a walk while Harry and Hoppity were interacting with real people. I don't think that Snape cares for Muggle Americans very much. Especially ones who want him to play sports.

It's been a long time since I've read this story. I admit I'd just about given up on it, but I decided to give it a go and see if there was anything. And there were several things! Which have unfortunately ended with a cliffhanger.

I am still thoroughly in love with this story. The characterizations are wonderful, the situations perfectly reasonable and normal considering their cover, and the writing is excellent. I just hope it won't take so long to get another chapter? Maybe?

    Author's Response:

    Thank you very much! :)

I don't think that it will take long. Severus Snape decided to throw a kink in the story line and demanded something that I hadn't thought of or prepared, and he has yet to tell me ow it goes. But maybe it will just start flowing if I start writing? I may try this weekend. ;) Thank you for your continued interest!
