I'm enjoying this so far. It's a fresh take on the severitus angle and one that works rather well. I like that your Snape is in character as are the Malfoys (whatever else they might be, they are gracious, wellbred people) The boy in the woods is an interesting and unexpected twist. Hmm.. And what's with Silas' fear of woods? Has the boy been molested in one? A small nitpick: it's impossible for Snape not to recognize the species of snake (unless it's a strange imported exotic pet that has escaped it's owner) because there are only three native British snakes: the adder, the grass snake and the smooth snake. Author's Response: :) Thanks for the little nitpick thing. I'm doing something different with that, that's why I stated specifically that he didn't recognized it. I'm glad you like it so far. Thanks for the review.
Author's Response: Thanks. Normally, they would, but Harry was reluctant at that point. |
