Love reading this fic. I keep wondering what will happen in 3rd year. Imagine Sirius finding out that his precious godson is living with Snivellous!
I've always assumed that Snape knew the Malfoys well, and probably knew Draco from the time Draco was a baby. In your fic, is Harry going to meet Draco?

What? *searches page* There's no more? Sniff sniff.....Great story hun! I love how you didn't immediatly drop Snape into the caring Guardian that so many people try to do when they write these fics, you actually caught the snarky surly character of our favorite Potions Master, and showed how the relationship is steadily changing and morphing into something healthy for both of them. I honestly can't wait for the next chapter!

I've been reading this story all along, and although I do like it quite a bit, I have one quibble. The narration from Harry's first person POV uses language and a vocabulary vastly beyond his age. I realize he's rather clever, and reads well, but there are certain phrases that are just far too poetic for a child his age. That makes it hard to keep in mind his relative age and experience.

Great story. I love Harry, he's abused but is slowly getting used to being around Severus. I thought that his accidental magic against William was great. I really want to see if Severus will return to teach at Hogwarts or if he just might home school Harry instead. Will we be seeing more of Poppy?

Interesting story you've created, here! I started reading just a little while...ok, not such a little while...ago and couldn't stop! It's really a nice new spin you've taken on the Snape taking in young Harry. I really like it! You've done a pretty good job of keeping everyone in character, but I realize it's probably not high on your list of things to do-and that's ok, because your story is better with the changes you've made to. So, I guess I'm trying to say that your characters are really believable in the situations you present them with. I was a tad worried what would happen to Harry in the first few chapters when Snape constantly neglected and refused to be concerned with him. But, all is well in Spinner's End and there's even some other magic-knowing folk around! I'm still unsure what Severus is going to do about Harry during the school term but can't wait to see what you come up with! So, update soon!! Also, are you planning on writing subsequent stories for each year until Harry attends Hogwarts or is this just a summer story? Because, if you can continue to create plot lines as you have so far, you should definatly write them down and post it here so we can read them too!! UPDATE!! *please*
