Author's Response: Definitely planning to continue it. :) I can't update every day, but I promise I'll finish the fic. I only hope you all enjoy reading it half as much as I enjoy writing it!

My heart is about to burst through my chest, I have goose bumps and uhh *shivers* That was a very intense chapter and I'm sitting on the end of my seat! Please you have to update very very soon!! Author's Response: Thank you, thank you, thank you for the enthusiastic review! Even though I am sorry to hear that I've put you through some turture with the cliffhanger, I am thrilled to know that you liked it enough to be on the edge of your seat!
Harry is actually seeing the future? Omg, can't wait to see what happens... Please, update soon! Author's Response: Yesss, a cliffhanger! Now I can thoroughly torture all of my readers... *cackle, cackle* ...oh, no! They can hear me! Ahhh! Thank you for the review! Please keep reading!
Author's Response: Thank you for the review! I'm glad to hear you liked the way it played out. Please keep reading - I enjoy reading your reviews! :)
I liked the Dumbledore-Harry vs. Harry-Snape dynamic during the conversation about the Dursleys. How Harry is slowly recognizing that even though Snape is unpleasant, he can trust him. Maybe even more than Dumbledore, about certain things. Snape's reaction to the cupboard revelation was also done well - understated, but you can feel the impact it had on him. Dumbledore was also well-written. You balance out the fact that he wants to win the war and in one sense must see Harry as a weapon or as a soldier with a role to play; on the other hand, you can feel that he'd rather not, and you see how sad it seems to make him when he upsets Harry and makes these incredible demands of him. I can buy into this Dumbledore - he's manipulative and he thinks strategy, but he doesn't seem to relish doing so. The war is taking a toll on him. And then, those prophetic words at the end. Will Harry tell Snape and Dumbledore what they mean? Will he ask Dumbledore about the second prophecy? (assuming he remembers what the 'other Harry' said about it). I'm guessing this will be the first thing the next chapter deals with, because they're bound to ask why he dropped his glass, and he needs to convince them that he can't block these dreams, which might actually relate the future. The sugar plum, how you inserted it, really was a big shock. I'd sort of forgotten about those words myself, kind of like Harry, and now it all clicked. I really hope you post soon again. Yours is one of the few stories I'd like to see regularly updated. Author's Response: Hello! I'm a little slow on responding to reviews this week - forgive me! :) Thank you for telling me how much you liked it - especially the thoughts about Dumbledore. I very much agree with your analysis of his conflicts of strategy vs. caring. I feel for him, I really do. The next chapter will be up soon, as will the answers to your questions! Please keep reading! :)
OMG I LOVE YOU!!! Yes, an update!!! I've been waiting for a new chapter for ages! Thank you! ^___^ Your story just keeps getting better and better! Poor Harry. *hugs him* (When are Snape and Harry gonna cuddle again? Odd question, I know, but it's just that whenever they mention the poor boy's nightmares and awful treatment from the Dursleys, I so wish for someone to give him a hug!) Oh, and Harry's dreams are getting more and more interesting! (I can't believe you ended the chapter on a cliffie like that! Gaaargh! But I guess it's good in the way it makes me want to read more...) I can't wait to see how things develop, especially now that Harry seems to be clairvoyant! Anyway, great chapter to a great story - please update soon!!! Author's Response: I love you too!!! hehe :) Maybe stories ought to come with a cuddle guarantee so you know before you start a story what you're getting yourself into. ;) Can't guarantee when or how much development you'll see right away, but I'll go so far as to promise a few *awww* moments before you're through with this fic.
Author's Response: Yes, they are mean. *hangs head in shame* Thank you for the nice review! I love to hear when you think I'm doing something right! ;)
It`s so, that I´ve to review to tell you. Lynx_lw Author's Response: Oh, thank you! You made me so happy with that amazing compliment!
That is just GREAT ! And chocolate is great too ;-) Author's Response: Sorry, I couldn't resist. :) It struck me as the best way to end the chapter. I'm glad to have hooked people to read the next one, though! hehe - part of my evil plan! Thanks for reviewing! |
