I like the way you are presenting the characters. I can imagine Lupin, in particular, saying the lines you wrote. And Snape is being his usual snarky self. The mysterious things going on at Grimmauld Place are interesting and I'm looking forward to finding out what is going on.
Lupin's acting like a right berk. Although this mystery thing is really quite interesting. I do hope The situation becomes better!

good chapter. Poor Harry! nobody likes to be kept in the dark.
What a thoroughly depressing chapter. I'm not sure how you managed to get through this. Hopefully at this point, things can only go up for Harry. There must be some nasty things going on.
Fantastic. What mystery! Wow, I'm all wound up and I don't know what's going on! Wow, great writing. What's going on with Lupin? Snape's being a jerk and he's wonderfully in character. The lumpy breakfast! Ick, what was that?

That whole thing with the plate reminds me of something my parents did to me with peas. The joke was on them when they forced me to eat them and I threw them all back up on the table. They never made me eat peas again. Looking forward to the next update.
Author's Response: My grandma used to do it to me all the time. Always with a lecture about not wasting food and finishing everything on your place. Sadly no one ever rescued me from eating yucky left-overs two or three meals in a row.
