Reviews For For The Boy Who Has Everything
I really like this story. And your Lupin is refreshingly unfair ;)
And as in a lot slash stories, *everybody's* gay, statistically not likely. That said, it's a good story, well written, could use a little humour. Author's Response: Everybody is not gay. The story is about Harry, from his point of view. The people closest to him happen to be gay. If I was writing about everybody in the wizarding world, they would obviously not all be gay, but I'm writing about these particular characters... who happen to be gay. Everyone being straight, as in canon, is just as unlikely. Right now, three people (one of whom is dead) are gay. Hardly everybody. Snape can be bisexual. If Harry was inclined to give it some thought, he would probably come to that conclusion, given that he knows Snape may have a son out there. But I don't think Harry is going to sit around pondering Snape's sexuality beyond what is right in front of his nose, which is Lupin/Snape. I'm glad you're enjoying the story despite not liking the slash... I think that's just not something that's very easy to agree on, just like pairings are not easy to agree on (regardless of if they're het or slash).
Thanks for the wonderful reading =)
On the adults v. Harry front, there's an arguments for giving both sides a good kicking. I take it the potion wasn't Polyjuice, even if they told him it was.
Author's Response: Well, I won't lie, Harry/Ginny is definitely not my thing, and I have other plans for Ginny. But she is going to have a part in this story. Yey for pirate!Ginny... who says an eye patch isn't a fashionable accessory? :-) Well, Harry's true appearance is a bit of a mystery, isn't it? According to the Severitus Challenge, his true appearance cannot *poof* into being, and must instead reveal itself over time. Besides, he hasn't reached his birthday yet, so his true appearance should not be making itself known at this point in time. All of which means... at some point after Harry's birthday, his appearance will begin changing into its true form. Which presents a bit of a problem, considering he is already disguised as Hadrian Snape. Glad you're still enjoying this fic. I felt like it lost its momentum in this chapter, so I'm trying to plot out the next one so that it's more forward-moving. It's really amusing how less than one day (well, one evening, one night, and half of a morning) took almost 5,000 words to describe.
Author's Response: Now that they're 'officially' father and son, I'm sure they'll have loads of opportunities to interact. I'm looking forward to that myself, actually. I'm glad you're enjoying it so far, and thanks for reviewing! |
