Reviews For For The Boy Who Has Everything
Brilliant chapter and brilliant Snape and Harry interaction. I love how parental Snape was being, telling Harry to wash up, study and clean up his room! Too cute. Oh and planning his birthday party is just icing on the cake. I love your Snape. He's not mushy but that is my favourite kind of Snape. I know that he'll never be a cuddly kind of guy and I'm fine with that, as a matter of fact, I prefer that. I want him to eventually see Harry in a different light, without losing all the snarkiness that makes the Snape we all know and love! Great hints and plots within plots and secrets and mystery and intrigue and just everything rolled into a wonderful story. I can't wait for the next chapter!!! Author's Response: Thank you! People don't change their personalities and deeply ingrained habits overnight. It takes the right kind of motivation, time, and effort to make changes to your personality or to build new habits. Snape has had over 30 years to become who he is now, so even earth-shattering news wouldn't bring about a quick and radical change in him. Hopefully, of course, he can make the changes that will be necessary in order to have a positive relationship with Harry. I definitely want that to happen, since Snape and Harry becoming a family is just about my favorite kind of story. :-)
Author's Response: Not with both Dumbledore and Sirius dead. I wasn't sure if I had written anything specific about it, but then I found it: "All of us are a bit at loose ends this summer. This house isn't under the Fidelius anymore, but with Hogwarts closed there aren't many places as secure." ~ Lupin
Author's Response: Yes, he's very frustrating that way. He has blinders on and he will only see and hear what he expects. Harry, unfortunately, has learned not to share too much (even with his best friends) and throws these statements out in a way that makes it easy for others to dismiss. Obviously, I'll try to nudge Snape toward having a better understanding of Harry's childhood. For now he's just filing the info away.
Author's Response: Thanks! I just posted a new chapter. :-)
Author's Response: If Harry's life ever became suddenly easy and angst-free, the poor kid would drive himself into insanity trying to figure out the big Ministry conspiracy and/or Voldemort-related plot behind it. :-)
Author's Response: Thanks! Next chapter is coming soon -- it's already with the beta. :-)
Yeah, this is getting really intriguing and I can't wait to find out what is going on with Draco and Hermione. I can't wait till Harry finds out that he's Snape's son! Loving this story, and I really really want a new chapter! Author's Response: Me, too. I feel like it's still forever until he figures it out, which is annoying because I really want to write that part! Yes, I thought Snape getting all huffy and possessive was hilarious, especially when it happened right in front of Harry. |
