Wow! This was a fantastic chapter. I loved Severus' train of thought and especially his epiphany at the end of the chapter. :-)
I really admire how you write Harry. So many fics make him a far too grown up 12 year old or a far too childish 16 year old. He's exactly right in your story, and I smile at his ideas and turns of phrase that remind me of my own son (who will be 12 in a few more months). I do hope that you will be able to continue this tale. It's one of the very best of the "Severus takes Harry from the Dursleys" stories I've ever read, and you've done it by keeping both protagonists in character and yet allowing them to believably change as each chapter goes on.
I'm adding this to my favorites, and I wish that I could score this a 30, and not just a 10. :-)
