Ooh I like it. The change in Snape's demeanor towards Harry is incredibly abrupt, but surprisingly believable. Just the fact that they are behind closed doors makes all the difference, I think. I like that Snape is finally reacting to what he sees in Harry's memories; we never really see that in cannon. I also like his frank, yet empathetic approach towards Harry.
This is what I needed to read today. Nice work!
