Interesting, but does this mean Lily was bitten, or just her ring? Must've been some ring, that! And it would mean she was infected, which would kind of eliminate her attractiveness as a match for James, would it not??

As interesting as the Harry and Sev interaction was, it was disappointing that you are simply reusing overused canon events in your story, and what appears to be future story. For those of us who have read tons of HP this get extremely tiresome. All of this is AU so the events can and should be different as well something authors seem to forget. Make your own new encounters with new monsters and again DEs and LV. This would make for a much more lively and refreshing story. As well it gets disappointing to find almost no stories where a parent will not tell Dumbledore to jump in the Lake when the safety of there children come in.
Interesting changes to canon in this. You have done a good job of showing us how the three are handling this. I hope we don't have to wait long to find out what happens.
this story is very dark. it is more chilling than the fluff i usually read. i am intrigued. have you ever heard of a happy ending?
