My, Severus has done some serious soul-searching, hasn't he? I like the way you are writing him. He's in character but more... human?...less in denial? I can't find other words to say what I mean. Well I am impressed (if that's an appropriate word) by Harry's pain thresh hold :S poor him, and god I hate permanent damages in fics :( but the other parts of the fic is so good that I don't really mind. all in all please update soon :D I'm very much looking forward to the next chapter ^^

Very moving, thank you for sharing.
I loved the chapter! You seem to have a great understanding of Severus and I love the impact it has on him once he has to accept how drastically Harry has been mistreated and the fact that he has only added to the abuse for so long.
I can't wait for the next chapter!
