Reviews For Hide Yourself Away
-P.G. Author's Response: It might and I love the flying beagle image, can you just see those ears?? LOL!
The beagle made me smile. One of my earliest memories is of my dad getting me a beagle, which was my first pet. We went to this big outdoor pen and several were running around; the slowest one was the only one dad could catch and so he's the one we got. He looked just like you described Harry's dog too, which is awesome. -P.G. Author's Response: You just gotta love Mia, she's a doll. And I don't think Harry's the jealous type. Ron maybe, but not Harry. I have a beautiful beagle named Rocky and I just love him to pieces, he acts just like Rosie sometimes, and he got into plenty of trouble as puppy, but I wouldn't trade him for anything. Beagles are so sweet and they are awesome pets. I had several growing up too. I figured Harry deserved one.
-P.G. Author's Response: Yeah that was one of my favorites too, James is so . . .kinky, LOL! And it's a typical thing for him to suggest to Lily.
-P.G. Author's Response: Then you'll love the next chapter, it has lots of baby Harry in it. And if you like little Harry stories, you should read my Never Again series, it's all about Harry as a toddler and a small child, it starts with a thirteen month old Harry, Lily, and Severus in Where Shadows Go. Thanks for rreading!
-P.G. Author's Response: Thanks, this was one of my favorites to write, I love a ranting righteous Snape and Dumbledore really deserved it here! And having Harry listen to it made it easier for him to accept Sev as his dad who really loved him and explained why he acted the way he did towards Harry previously.
-P.G. Author's Response: In this AU, Voldemort never came for the Potters until Harry was two, so that's why they are all still alive in 1982. I wanted to give Sev and Lily and harry more time together to form family bonds and memories, so that's why I altered the timeline slightly. Hope that answers your question.
Thanks again for reviewing this one and hope you like it.
Author's Response: You're right about the cousin thing, I know because I have so many of them. But I wanted to keep Harry's thought processes mistaken since he has no clue about family relationships, growing up the way he did. Perhaps Sev might have a discussion with him in a future book about it. And that Robin Hood part is one of my favs, I love the movie, and so many people never realized that Alan Rickman was the sheriff, LOL!
Author's Response: I'm from America and the one reason I put that in there is because of an exchange student who made that comment to my sister, it's something that a typical European notices and remarks upon. No offense!
I was really surprised to see the mention of the Alaskan Klee Kai. I love them! Very few people I have mentioned them to know what they are. Do you have one? Author's Response: I read about them in a magazine and watched a TV show and they seemed like very cool dogs. No, I don't own one, I have a beagle, like the one in the story, but I like putting new and different animals in my stories. Thanks for reviweing.
Author's Response: I did already. There is a small one-shot that comes inbetween this story,, called Depression Cure, and the sequel, called Hide Yourself From A Prisoner, also posted here. |
