Only a month of detention for murdering an innocent animal?! And there's no questioning of Draco by Snape or Dumbledore?
A snotty, self-entitled child of a Death Eater murders an innocent animal & no one is concerned that he's started down the same sociopathic path as his father? No one has questioned or even investigated how Harry ended up growing up homeless on the streets. He hasn't had a medical exam from Poppy. The supposed saviour of their way of life grows up a street kid & everyone just frowns sadly then goes on their way? Snape doesn't introduce himself to his first-years, so how are they to know who he is? Considering how he grew up, Harry is entirely too trusting. A street kid would be smart & wonder first off how in the hell he ended up on the streets if he's so all-fired important.
I've been hand-waving the utterly simplistic way some serious issues are being dealt with in your story. But this, Hedwig's murder & the lack of repercussions, marks the end for me.
Malfoy is sooooooo going to regret that!!!!!!!!! Harry's going to kill him now. Hehe I love this story!
