My dear, I apologize! I have been so busy with the real world that I did not have time to beta your chapter. You must hate me now. Everytime I sat down to read it, something came up. And I just spend all of today at my cousin's helping her paint! Again, I'm so, so sorry. Your portrayal of Dumbledore wasn't too bad. It's ok. I know how it is when Life just ups and throws you a bunch of stuff to do at once. Believe me, the only reason I got this chapter up is because i wrote and rewrote while sitting at my register at work. Of course I'll give you another chance! My Dumbles didn't bite? Although I find the sudden change in the Durley's behaviour startling and surprising, I'm sure that once Harry is better, we're going to get some kind of explanation, however ridiculous it's going to be... That said... I liked it so far and am hoping for more, although I have to admit that I find schizophrenic Snape a bit disconcerning... Thanks, ai Author's Response: Lol. And Minerva really deserves to have a good laugh over it too! I hope that Albus realizes what he has done by leaving Harry in the Dursleys care once he sees the memories Sev shows him. I also loved the part with Harry feeling warm and safe in Severus's quarters. Aww! Author's Response: Well, i thought LAbus was going to be Albys in this fic, but apparently he's not.....YIKES!!! I hope no one barfs over the non-nice Dumbledore......this is AU, after all......
I love Snape's "split-up" personality and the conversations he has with himself - they are both entertaining and right to the point. That way you manage to convey the difficult and different traits that make up our beloved potions master. He is, after all, even in the books, the most interesting character because he isn't easy to understand and does seem to act ambiguously all the time! I'm eager to see how you'll have the doddering old fool react to the memories. I dearly hope for his own sake that he will - for once - behave like a responsible adult or I'll have to agree with the High inquisitor on one account: There are some very irresposible things going on at Hogwarts set from a pedagogical point of view... Keep up the good work - I really love it so far! Author's Response: Thank you! really don't know what to say, but I never realized I was doing all that. Thanks anyway though. Yes, yes, I figured we needed to know why he was so cranky all the time. Tiurns out its because his voices won't gove him a minute of peace. Sad, but great for reading! Well.........I'm torn between him thinking its a hoax....or being completely devastated...Either way, Sev's gonna take a huge bite out of him. :) Thanks again!!
The conversation with the Severus' inner voices was interesting, and I could understand why Minerva had such a strong reaction when Severus told off the Ministry official...I hope he's not going to be another Umbridge, but at least Harry has Severus on his side this time if the Ministry causes him any trouble. And so Harry was awake and knows that Severus carried him inside and put him to bed...I'm glad Harry knows. I'm looking forward to more! Author's Response: Yup yup. I thought it was essential for Harry to know this, considering Severus isn't the touchy-feely kind of person, so any kinds of hugs would be a rare occurence. Thanks so much, and jhe's not going to be as bad as Umbridge, really, but I needed a villain.... Hope to have more up soon!!
It is very rare to find a story where Severus is immediately soft-hearted toward Harry and I enjoy that greatly. Althoug, I can see, that Ron and Hermione are greatly in love. /Please/ don't make this a Harry/Ginny fic. I hate the little redhead. Now I have a question: Is Severus an Animagus in this story? I too got really tired of all the fics where Snape has to go through this whole song and dance routine before eh realizes that Harry isn't everything he thought he was. Believe me, as much as I love Sev-adopts-Harry fics, the recurring theme was really getting to me. THe only ones that really seem to start off like this one are the baby fics, as even when Harry's deaged Sev's still a bit of a grump.
Lol. You hate her? How come? And, I haven't really gotten around to thinking of relationships for Harry, girlfriend-wise. I think now that I have to think about it, that it may be Luna, and then only because of that one scene in the OotP movie where she's out in the woods feeding thresthrals... did I spell that right?
And, yes, Sevie is an Animagus, But I'm having trouble deciding what his form is. I've read fics where he's everything from a bat to a dragon to a snake, all very predictable, though well done. But, I'mm working on i, really, I am. I'll try to update sometime this week, really. Thanks so much!!

I especially love your character's development. You really have a knack for making us feel their emotions, and might I mention also, that I was constantly alternating between tears and laughter. You have given us a whole new insight into the workings of Severus Snape's mind. I love it. Wow, he's so tall, 6'5'', that little guy must have been ready to pee his pants!
