    Wowwie.
I was reading this at work and just cracked up. Its' lovely and warm and you have caprtured a realy child in this fic. But i'm now picturing Prof McGonnagal as cat woman complete in leather, Flinch as Penguin ... i need therapy. Thanks again.

    Author's Response:

Lol, you just made my day with your review!  That thought about Professor McGonnagal is hilarious (and somewhat disturbing, lol).  I love it!  Thanks for reading!

I just realised that I've never left a review for this sweet, sweet story! I even voted for this one, and I'm so pleased that you've won! I just can't believe that I never left a review. For that I apologise. I have been having problems with my computer, and internet for quite awhile.

I loved this story, because it was just so cute and funny and heartwarming and I love little Harry, and big Sev!! (Or should I say Batman?!)

I'd love to see this made into a longer story! Any chance of it?

    Author's Response:

Thanks--I'm glad you came back to do it!  I can't judge because I too have forgotten to review some absolutely fabulous stories too (I usually get called away from the computer for whatever reason and then totally forget).  I'm glad you enjoyed it though and voted for it!  I have been thinking about writing a sequel, but it will probably just be a oneshot if I do.  I have too many chapter fics going on right now and I shouldn't start another (I have some Lord of the Rings fans who are really annoyed with me for not finishing a chapter fic I started quite a while ago and so I don't want to start anything that I don't think I'll finish anymore).  Anyways, thanks for reading!

Congrats on getting featured status! I loved the way you told almost all of this story as Harry talking to his new batman toy - it sounds exactly like something a boy of that age would do, and I was falling about when he started calling Snape Batman! What a wonderfully innocent, original way of going over the old 'bat' joke. The interaction between the two at the end was sweet too. I do hope one day you'll consider writing a follow-up to this - even if it's just a drabble. That would be something I'd love to read - it has real potential as a oneshot that could evolve into something longer.

*snort* Just remembered your Harry asking about Snape's pants - there's no way I could not love that.

Just one tip: the way I was taught to write separate paragraphs of direct speech by the same person (with no interruptions) was to always start the new paragraph with a " but not put it at the end of that same paragraph (unless the character has finished speaking).

    e.g:
    "Speech.
    "Speech.
    "Speech."

But, anyway, that's how I was taught, so your way might be different - just thought I'd mention it :)

    Author's Response:

Thanks--I just found out today, lol!  I've been on choir tour all week and had a pleasant surprise waiting for me when I got back!  Anyway, I'm glad you enjoyed it.  I have been toying with the idea of a one-shot sequel, but I make no promises.  I do think it would make a nice beginning for a longer fic as well, but I already have too many unfinished works on fanfiction.net and really shouldn't start another one now, lol.

Thanks for the writing tip too--punctuation is definitely something I need to improve on.  I've been trying to work on it using a manual I have for college and by reading beta recommendations from ObsidianEmbrace.  However, this baby was not beta-ed and probably does need some work.  Had I realized it would get more reviews than any other oneshot I've ever written, I would have asked someone to do it, lol.  I'm still rather astonished at how successful this is because I came up with the idea literally at 3 am one night and just started writing it on a whim.  I'm glad everyone likes it though.  Thanks for your support!

This is adorable! I love the way you captured the voice of a little child in your writing and still told a story with some serious aspects to it.
I laughed harder every time I saw the word "Batman" and I will probably never think of him in the same way again. LMAO
    Story: Loved it.

    Author's Response:

Hi, thanks for reading!  I'm glad you enjoyed it and caught the serious undertones of the fic as well.  I do think it's a cute fic, especially since it's from Harry's p.o.v., but it's also sad that the whole shoveling incident happened (as well as other implied abuse).  The nice thing about writing this was that I got to skip all of the serious adult conversations that surely occurred and just got to focus on how Harry saw everything.  I just love Snape as Batman, lol.  Now if only he had a Batmoble...  Thanks for reviewing!
