Aww, the cuteness and 'awww' effect just went through the roof. Now I'm grinning like a fool and it's all your fault! XD Thanks for writing, I loved it!

    Author's Response:

Lol, isn't grinning like a fool a good thing?  I'm glad you enjoyed it!

awwh!! This is the cutest story ever!! I love itt!!! Harry's adorable!
    Great job
So just wondering? did snape marry lily after jame's death>?

    Author's Response:

Thanks--I'm glad you enjoyed it!  You know, I never really thought about the circumstances concerning why Lily is alive in this fic.  It was just an idea I came up with one night and it just seemed like it would be helpful plot-wise for Lily to be alive in this story.  That's the great thing about a drabble--I don't have to think out the more intricate parts of the story!  Thanks for reading!

This was a great little story, I just wish there was more of it. I like how you told it from Severus's POV, it's funny how he lookes at the moth one way--as a scientist and potions master--and Harry looks at it from the point of view of a neat looking creature, like a biologist, sort of. And I also like how Sev recognizes that Harry's just a kid and won't appreciate his viewpoint till later and how he's content to let his son be a child. Too many people today want their kids to grow up too fast. Wonder what Lily would say about the moth?

    Author's Response:

Thanks, I'm glad you liked it!  I had never really thought about the biology/potions master difference, but I think it's very interesting and that you're right.  Sev is really excited for Harry to get older because he wants to share his potions knowledge with him, but he also knows that Harry really isn't old enough to handle a lot of the things involved in potion making (i.e. decapitating moths and other critters).  I like to think that at the end of this, he sort of realizes that he should appreciate Harry for who he is now because he won't be this little forever.

I'm sorry to say that there won't be any more of this, though I'm glad you enjoyed it nonetheless.  Thanks for reading!

Very sweet! I especially liked how Sev wanted to show harry what he could DO with the moth and how Harry just wanted to show him it and let it go. It reminded me of the time my five-year-old son was on a camping trip with me and my husband and found a butterfly. My husband was like "Oh great, let's mount it!" and nearly gave my son a heart attack. "Noo, Daddy, you can't kill it!" We ended up letting it go and that trip went down as "the one where you almost made me kill the butterfly".

Kids! Gotta love them! Great last line too!

    Author's Response:

Thanks for reading!  I think a lot of kids would be horrified at the thought of killing little creatures that they like.  Lol, your story about your son was great--I'm glad you didn't mount it too!  I had to mount butterflies for a class I took once and after I pinned one down, thinking it was dead, it started moving on the pins!  It was the saddest thing ever; I definitely wouldn't have done that to the poor critter if I had thought it wasn't dead :(.

Anyways, thanks for the kind comments about my writing!  I'm glad you enjoyed my fic!

Aw, a little boy after my own heart. I find it impossible to hurt any of those little creatures in nature! Even spiders, believe it or not.

Such a sweet story. Hmm, would make a great longer story. Hint hint! :)

    Author's Response:

He is a kindly boy here, isn't he?  Lol, I'm a spider killing machine (especially when I work at camp--I don't want the buggers crawling on me when I sleep!) so I imagine Harry and I wouldn't get along here, lol.

I'm glad you liked it; sadly, I don't think I'll be expanding this one.  However, my challenge fic is a chapter fic, so if you're looking for a longer story, you might enjoy that when it comes out.  I do love writing little Harry though and will no doubt write something else with him in it soon.  Thanks for reading!
