Oh, leave it to George to bring a ray of sunshine to poor Al's maudlin thoughts. I just love the twins, even if George is only half the equation. He seems to be coping well at least.

And Lily? Is this Al's sister Lily? And Po and Sagi are her kids? If she is Harry's daughter, has she too deserted HArry because she blames him for her mother and brother's deaths? So sad if this is the case.

I take it that the ranting patient who was so horrible to Harry was Ron. Therefore, I take it that Hermione too is dead.

And the DE...it must be Snape. What happened to the nose?

This is excellent, PG. I am just glad that these later chapters are a bit easier to read...not as much misery.

    Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked my George scene--it's one of my favorites here and I thought we really needed a break from all of the tension (well, it's sort of a break anyway...).

It is Al's sister Lily, as I'm sure you discovered in chapter four.  Po and Sagi are her kids and she does blame poor Harry for the incident, which is quite sad.

Hermione is actually not dead; hopefully, that will brighten this story a bit for you.  I do have a bit of a story for her and she may or may not make an appearance in a later chapter.

The nose will be explained in chapter 6. :D

    Thanks for reading!

Hmm . . .I'm surprised that Al doesn't know about Snape and how he used to be a DE. I guess Harry never told his kids about Severus?

I like that Sev and Al talked and that Al is a Hufflepuff. There aren't too many stories with Hufflepuffs in them. Can they cure Severus?

I figured the man in the room screaming at Harry was Ron--looks like he's still letting his mouth run away with him.

I loved George and how he played a prank on Al--lemon drops, ha!

I'm guessing that Lily doesn't see Al too much anymore and that she's married to someone Al doesn;t really like.

    Author's Response:

I really like the idea of Al being a Hufflepuff.  Everyone assumed that he'd be in Gryffindor or Slytherin just because of his family and/or namesake and I think that's kind of silly.  He's seemed nice, but kind of insecure in the DH epilogue and reminded me a lot of Neville, who I think would have done great in Hufflepuff as well.  I really like the idea of Albus being loyal to Harry too and so it made the most sense to have him sorted there since he was exhibiting those qualities in the fic.

I'm glad you liked the lemon drops--I just had to throw that little bit of irony in there; I couldn't help myself!  You're right about Lily not seeing too much of Al these days, but that's about all I can say on that topic ;).  I'm really glad you've enjoyed the fic and I hope I answer all of your questions in the subsequent chapters.

You should have warned us that we need tissues, while reading this story. It is so beautifully written, yet so heart-breaking.

I want to just hug Harry. That must be Ron in that bed, I'm guessing. Hmm, you're keeping us on eggshells! Can't stop reading.

    Author's Response:

Hehe...I do love being purposefully vague.  I'm glad you're enjoying it!
