Thank you a lovely story apart from the butler, that would never happen
All those 'would have, could have, should have' moments. The quote is 'die a hero or live long enough to find yourself the villain', but it's rather backwards for him, isn't it? Die the villain, only to live on in memories the hero. Things like that always come about right when they're needed the most. Still, I wonder how it managed to be five years before the time-capsule that was Severus Snape's personal quarters was cracked open. Did the new potions professor have a preference for different quarters before moving on? Either way, it was time.
Tear-jerker and awesomely-amazing! Can't believe I'd not come across this fic before!

Oh my God, you made me cry. But not in a bad way. I love you so so much!
It was really good. I cried my eyes out. I am still crying and I am not sure I want to read the sequal right now or not because I don't know if it will make me cry more. But here goes :)
That was so emotional! :( Good job!

"Good, bad, horrible, brilliant?? "
Obviously this was one of the best things I've read. I usually do not read One-Shots because you read through them waaay to fast and that is how I fell now, because I would liked to read SO much more.
But seriously, this was fantastic and it nearly had me crying a few times (:
