Loving the story so far! One thing though, are Harry/Ginny and Ron/Hermione going to get together like in canon? I ask because a few chapters ago, Ginny was glancing adoringly at Harry much like in 2nd year and Percy called Hermione Ron's girlfriend. I hope not.

Author's Response: I don't think that that's going to happen in this story, because they are still quite young. If I ever decide to write a sequel, let's say from fourth year on, then perhaps I'll have pairing, but right now, I'm not planning on having any romantic pairing, at least for the children.

Oooh... Fudge doesn't like that, now, does he? Eh, never liked the guy, anyway.

    Awesome chapter. ^^

    Author's Response:

I never like him either, the pompous ass. LOL

    Thanks for reading.

Love, love Snape talking about eating sweet-loaded ice cream! I can see him say that! That was hilarious! I love your characterization of Ron. He's so Ron, but more, and so funny in his own grumbling, whining sort of way.

Poor Snape, feeling all conflicted. And Harry was adorable trying to manage to say thank you to him before he went to bed.

HAHA! Fred and George with the badge! I love those two.

Well, this is interesting. This idea with the will is getting more and more interesting with each chapter. I am so intrigued. Sorry I somehow missed this chapter...*reads the next one*

    Author's Response:

Hee hee. Snape would not want children any more hyper than necessary, now would he?

Thanks. I'm just really enjoying writing Ron. Oh, some of the dialogue was taken from POA, and I just elaborated on it, so the idea of the badge was JK's, not mine. But I didn have fun playing around with Ron's reactions.

There are more suprises with the will to come.

Don't worry about it. You read it now! :)  Thanks for reviewing.

Oh my, they have to be all together? That is certainly interesting. I have a feeling Snape is going to figure out Harry is his son before that happens, merely because of the physical changes that he seems to be observing now.

Is there evidence there to prove Sirius' freedom?

I must admit, your writing about the black dog is quite excellent. It freaks me out every time it makes an appearance in this fic.

Nice work and I look forward to more.

    -P.G.

    Author's Response:

Yeah, sucks doesn't it?  But I couldn't make it easy, could I? LOL!  Yeah, Severus might just figure it out, but he'd never admit it, and the changes are sublte still...so maybe he'll just ignore the signs, or chalk it up to hormones or something.

Aw, poor Sirius. There isn't evidence right now, and few believe his innocence, if any, but there are a few surprises to come.

Oh thanks,...poor Sirius!!! If he knew that he was scarey, he probably wouldn't be too happy with me!

Thanks PG. I hope to read some more from you very soon too.

Here, I'm givng out chocolate frogs today.  I'm really craving chocolate these past few days....

Another entertaining read. Your little additions - like the wizarding fast food restaurant- really add to the story, and I love how protective Snape is becoming of Harry. And there's lots to look forward to with the mysterious box and the will - great!

Author's Response: Thank you. I'm trying to add little things like that, so that I, and my readers can picture the scene in their mind. I wasn't sure if I was accomplishing that!

Wow...you weren't kidding when you said that it would be a while before the box can be opened and the will read, were you Dawn...about 10 months in fact if you stick to canon time line. Sirius ain't going to come out of the woodwork anytime soon.

Fudge was perfectly in character...not one trace of his cheerful, harmless persona here...he was as mean and nasty as we found he could get when things weren't going his way. Pompous little git! Just as well his head auror had more than sawdust in his head.

Loved Harry and Snape interaction, though I am hanging out for the first time that Sev calls Harry anything but Potter, or Mr Potter. I can imagine his screwed up face when the word Harry passes his lips, but it is always difficult making that first plunge.

Percy was as big a prat as the minister...no wonder he worshipped him so much. Ron and Hermione were perfectly in character and even 'little' Ginny was snuck in there with her adoring glances. Although, if I remember correctly from canon, Ginny was almost too embarrassed to look at Harry because of his having had to rescue her from the chamber just a couple of months beforehand.

So, I wonder if Severus is going to actually begin to wonder whether Harry can be his son (I presume he and Lily must have done the deed, or was their magic at work, perhaps along the lines of ASD) before the will is read and the box opened?

    Can't wait for more.

    Great job, once again, Dawn.

    Lesley~

    Author's Response:

Don't worry Lesley, I'm not going to follow Canon to the letter. I'm just trying to at least keep to it loosely. My events will occur faster than in the book or movie.

Fudge IS a pompous git!  Thank goodness that John has more brains, because Fudge would have really burnt all his bridges.

Well, Snape will eventually call Harry "Harry", but I didn't want to do it too fast because it's only been three weeks, and  even though Snape is seeing Harry in a different light because of the abuse, I don't think that he's quite ready to completely let go of his grudge against James.

I'm actually looking forward to having Snape call Harry for the first time, and yes, he'll say it like he's sucking on a sour lemon.

Percy is a pompous ass just like Fudge. Oh thanks, Since I've got Ron acting like a prat in my other story, I thought that I'd have him be "good old Ron in this story!  Yeah, Ginny is very shy but still adores Harry. There is that burdgeoning young love happening here. Too bad Harry is too young to see it for what it will eventually be; the love of his life.

Severus might regress a bit once school starts unfortunately. No, Severus and Lily were naughty!! But this was before James and Lily were an item, so she never cheated on James. She'd never do that.

Thanks Lesley, I;m really anxiously awaiting updates for your lovely stories. Any one will do. I love them all. Muggle, Finding Ginny and ASD!!! I'm on pins and needles, because you naughty girl have left us with a cliffie in all of them!

"on the lam" not "on the lamb"

Sounds like it'll be a while before that vault can be opened!

    Author's Response:

Mares eat oats and does eat oats and little lambs eat ivy.

Ooops...better change it. Yeah, it might be a while before the vault is opened. Hope you can hang on a bit.

Oh Pandora! You'll never believe it! When I went to read on, there was nothing else to read!! This is terrible! You're going to have to do something about that! lol

This was SO good! Snape's all protective and uncertain about Harry, and Harry's still having some fun even though he thinks he's going to die. And the Weasleys were such fun! XD Very very good!

Oh, and this will stuff! How exciting! I can't wait til you update again! What will they find? Will it say that Snape's the dad? That would be good, cuz then Harry would know that he'd never have to go back to the Dursleys ever again! :D And what will they think when they hear that they'll need Sirius? When will Sirius come out??

This was very good and I'm all excited for the next chapter! And I have to give you fifty points for saying blue eyes are sexy! Thanks! (I have blue eyes XD) Actually, the whole little scene was great!! Please update when you can!

    Author's Response:

Aw, now you know how I feel when I'm waiting for YOUR update!!!

Ffity points?  Great. You are so generous. Yeah, I love blue eyes. My dad has them.

Yeah, I love the Weasleys, and especially the twins!!

Thanks for your encouragement and I'm anxious for updates from you.

Why as the solicitor of the Potter's did he not inquire as to why the Ministry was snooping around the Potter's old home and taking items from it? Why did John not demand the return of the lock boxed that obviously belonged to the Potter's and the Ministry has no business trying to open in the first place! Anything in the house belongs to the Potter heirs.

    Author's Response:

I think that the Barrister was in shock, that the Aurors found the box to begin with. He wasn't really privy to its whereabouts and it has been missing for twelve years.

I think that John also was a little unsure how to proceed, afterall... this is the Minister of Magic.
