Reviews For Half-Life
Author's Response: Yes, it would. I can't even begin to tell you how many times I would have liked to have one in my life. Bad experiences do tend to teach us things about ourselves though, even if we can't see it at the time. Anyway, thanks for reading-I hope you enjoyed it. -P.G.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! I'm really glad you enjoyed the topic. I've been thinking about a sequel, but I don't know when I'll get around to it. There are a lot of different ways this could go. Anyways, thanks for the review! -P.G.
I'm curious to know what kind of half-life he and Harry will live with because as you questioned what really is a half-life? Poor Sev. Author's Response: I'm glad you thought the desperation was realistic; that's what I was hoping to achieve. The question about the half-life was really what spurred this whole fic, because I really don't think Snape is living a 'whole-life' to begin with. I mean, he's a slave to both Dumbledore and Voldemort and he's living without any real friends, in the shadow of a relationship with Lily that was never meant to be. So, would things stay the same for him or would they get worse? I don't know. Maybe I'll think about it some more and write a sequel. Anyway, thanks for reading. -P.G.
Author's Response: Thanks! It means a lot when authors I respect enjoy my works. -P.G.
I wonder how Harry feels, would he rather be dead or lived a cursed half life. Snape's choice, while horrible, I believe is one that most parents would make. Why would he let his son die when he could live? The story was very touching, good job! Author's Response: I'm glad you enjoyed it. One of the hard parts about this story is that Snape has no idea what Harry would have wanted and so he acts upon what he wants, which is a son who is alive and well. Thanks for reading! -P.G.
It is true that as a parent that we would sacrifice our very souls, for our child's happiness, and very breath of life. Author's Response: Thanks--I'm glad you enjoyed my fic. I'm glad that Sev's love for Harry was so impacting. -P.G.
Author's Response: Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed it. I too think it would be a great full-length story, but I'm not sure that I'll get around to making it one. I do think I want to write a sequel though about the aftermath of the situation and what happens to dear Harry. Thanks again for reading! -P.G.
Insightful. Realistic. Haunting. Author's Response: It is rather cruel, but then again, so is life at times. I wanted to use the idea of how something can go wrong when someone least expects it and change the person's whole life. I'm glad you enjoyed my writing; thanks for the compliments. -P.G.
Author's Response: I'm sorry to hear about your child's accident and hope that everything turned out alright in the end. I can imagine that it would really be a nightmare, even though I don't have any kids of my own. Despite all of the darkness, I hope you enjoyed the story. -P.G.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading and betaing, Tabitha! Your help was greatly appreciated and I'm glad that you enjoyed the story. I was hoping it would be a thought-provoking story and I'm happy that it turned out that way. Thanks again for your support! -P.G. |
