    This is so cute!!! Loved the bit about Harry trying to climb Snape's robes.

    I really enjoyed this, it was just great. I particularly liked the interaction with the cat, the way Severus took the cat off him - only to give it back when he'd shown Harry the proper way to hold it; he'd make a good dad :) The boggart was cool: Ripper makes a lot of sense for Harry at that age and I love the image of the skateboarding dog! It was cool when Harry made the light too, getting excited about what he'd done and everything (and more proof that Severus would be a great dad!). It's a lovely little story. Thank you for writing!

    I'm glad that Harry's boggart was simply Ripper. There are some many more things that would have been terrifying to be stuck alone in Snape's quarters with.

    I liked your characterization of Snape. He seemed annoyed to have to take care of Harry, but at the same time resigned to his fate and leaning to cope with it.

    Great story!

    Author's Response: Yeah, I thought of using something else, like Vernon or Petunia, but I couldn't think of a way to make them into something that Harry would find funny. Plus I think that a young Harry would be much more traumatized by Ripper than much else.

     Oh Yay!! You made me so happy! I was so worried about how I wrote Snape. I was trying so hard to stay at least somewhat true to the character and still work him into my story. ;-}

     Thank you very much for your review,

    Cute--I like the idea of what Harry's boggart would turn into at that age and how Snape let him light the wand up to see what was under the bed.

    Author's Response:

    Thank you. I tried to think of what would little Harry be afraid of at that age, and I remembered in one of the books Harry saying that Ripper chased him up a tree one time. I think the Harry was a little older than this, but I'm sure that Ripper was still a terror to poor Harry.

    Yeah, I'm not really sure where Harry and the wand bit came from, Severus and little Harry just took off from me with that. But I really like how it turned out. ;-}

    Awww I loved this so much. Harry is so sweet and so was Severus...eventually! I could just imagine them both peaking under the bed, lovely image!

    Brilliant fest entry!
