Oh, this is promising to be an interesting relationship between the two, isn't it?

Well...I mean, I've read it before, but when you read it the second time, you can really pick up on brilliant little descriptions and dialogue that I missed the first time.

Author's Response: Great! I'm glad there's new parts to find. I'm enjoying all your comments -- thanks for reviewing. :-)

Usually it's Harry who gets to say that he doesn't want Severus as his father; so his attitude here is rather refreshing.

I particularly like that your Snape is truly a former death eater - there is no squeamishness about using crucio on Avery! Your deatheaters must be truly a pit of snakes (no pun intended!), based on the exchange between them.

I like reading about sensitive cuddly Snape from time to time, but the canon version was foul tempered, sadistic, and I think would probably have delighted in corporal punishment rather than detention if Dumbledore had not been headmaster. Your Snape rather closely fills that bill!

    Author's Response:

Yes, he does. His impulses are not towards kindness.

     Glad you're enjoying it!

Author's Response: Thanks! I think it will be right at home here. :-)
