Reviews For Blood Magic
I do wish that Severus had allowed Harry to explain what happened before losing his temper. It's not Harry's fault that Hermione misunderstood what he was trying to say, which is basically that he is confused by all the conflicting expectations that are being sent his way. He needed someone to listen to him and help him to understand and cope; unfortunately, she took it as a personal insult instead. Whether Hermione wants to admit it or not, she too has certain prejudices against the 'pure bloods' and her expectations of Harry were rather unfair. He is playing a balancing act right now and isn't quite certain where he stands or belongs. He doesn't feel that he truly belongs in either world. It's probably best that they have decided to see other people for now, because neither of them is ready for the kind of relationship they were beginning to fall into. Author's Response: Yes, that's exactly what Harry needs. And Severus feels so guilty that he's making things worse, just as Hermione made things worse because she was afraid. I hope you're enjoying it!
I'm glad that things seemed to be smoothed over with Snape, and him taking Harry gently by the shoulders, while he was yawning and sleepy, was just too cute. |
