I loved this story and it would be great if you could continue it sometime
So Will Severus ask Albus to perhaps be a grandfather to Evan or will he ask him something else? What happened to Harry's friends - won't they wonder where he is? Perhaps Severus should place a spell on Evan or a charm on something he wears - that lets Severus know where he is & his status, location? Perhaps Severus should give Evan a little more background information -because the wee boy is emotionally/socially much younger than 4yrs old - but in otherways he's much older as well. I do think Severus should have a house elf with him at his home to help with Evan & think about finding the boy some little friends as well. Wonder how Minerva, Poppy, Filius and Ponmona (if they've survived the war) would react to Harry taking the reincarnation potion and that Severus agreed to raise him as his on?
Evan without his/or any memories migh be 4yrs old - but some of his behaviour makes him seem much younger. Also I think that Evan almost took Severus telling him to stay on couch literally. Little Evan's afraid of doing anything wrong - as if he's waiting to be punished. Yet doesn't realise he's waiting to be punished - this might be linked to him not liking the words "thank you" - Dursley related?
Severus best get himself a parenting book and some literature on dealing with abused children of Evna's age.
Hmm....perhaps Harry and Severus should have talked about Harry's childhood. Even if it was vaguely so Severus would have some clue - feel sorry for him being left in the dark. Then there's Albus disappointment that Severus brewed the reincarnation potion for Harry.
I do feel that if Severus had not brewed that potion then Harry might have found another way to achieve a second chance at a childhood that he never had. Hope Severus won't be charged with his murder or something. After all hasn't Harry offered up enough for the wizarding world - he deserves something from them for a change?
Hmm....its a shame that Severus didn't have a stuffed bear to give Evan to cuddle during the night for comfort. Though I'd have made the bear wear a black robe like Severus's....what do you think?
Severus really does need to know about little Evan's past and the 3yrs this version of Evan spent with the Dursleys? Perhaps Severus should read some child psychology books about how to help an abused child? Try to find ways for Evan to express himself about how he feels at any given time; when he's scared, confused, etc. This could be done through drawing or play activities.
Perhaps Severus should consult a mediwizard who specialises in the care of children but also knows how to aid abused children? So Evan has Severus as his papa, and possibly (in the future, if he allows it...and Albus minimises his meddling) Albus as a grandfather, but what about a female figure in Evan's life.....either Minerva or Poppy? Will any of the Hogwarts staff be making an appearance?
Wow...it truly seems as if little Evan really is good for Severus. But will it be revealed what did happen to all those that Harry previously knew? How was Harry blinded....and just how did he get rid off Voldemort in the end?
Whilst its clear that both Albus and Severus will undoubtably miss the young/but old Harry...who never really had the chance of truly being a child this first time. So in someways both Albus and Severus will get to meet who "Harry" could have been if circumstances had been different.

Evan is cute! I hope you one day write more of this story so we can learn what happens with Severus and Evan.
