Reviews For Stars and Midnight Blue
Author's Response: Thanks! -P.G.
Great Christmas story. Author's Response: Lol, thanks. Tis the season to write fluff; I'm glad you liked it! -P.G.
Author's Response: Thanks--I'm glad you enjoyed it, despite the sadness of certain scenes. Have a Happy Holiday! -P.G.
Author's Response: It really does contradict itself, doesn't it? Severus Christmases have never been mediocre; they are either astoundingly good or horribly bad. Unfortunately, he had no control over which ones he viewed with the candy cane, so he saw some of both. I'm glad you enjoyed this piece--thanks for reading! -P.G.
I want to read more of Harry and Severus though. You should write a longer story in this universe. Maybe like how Harry came back to Severus. I didn't want the story to end,. I love how Lily constantly manipulated Severus into doing what she wanted. The little scenes of them together were so cute too. I could just picture them rolling on the floor too. Merry Christmas. Author's Response: Aw, thanks Dawn! I'm glad you liked it. As for a continuation though, I'd have to say that I don't think I'm too interested. Harry and Severus' story is sort of left up to the reader's imagination in this one. I kind of picture it as follows: Severus and Harry know that they are father and son, but Dumbledore keeps them apart because Severus isn't really fit to be a father; he's depressed about Lily and barely teaches at school because of his alcohol problem. I like to think that he eventually got help though and this is the first Christmas they've ever spent together. That's how I envision this universe, but I don't mind if others think of it differently. I'm glad you enjoyed the scenes though, despite their shortness. The candy cane scene was really fun to write because I got to portray them both as silly teenagers. It was great fun. Thanks for reading! -P.G.
Author's Response: I'm so glad you enjoyed this. I'd like to think that Severus spent a majority of his holidays with Lily in the canon world too, not just in my own alternate universe. Thanks for reading. -P.G.
Author's Response: Hey, thanks for reading. I'm glad you liked the story. If you let me know what's confusing about it, I might be able to fix it. I posted this without a beta because I thought we had to have our Christmas stories posted by yesterday for the fest. If something's unclear, I'm definitely willing to answer your questions or edit the fic. I think I like to write about Lily for that reason--because so little is known about her, a lot of her personality can be made up by the writer. Thanks again! -P.G. |
