Sok sad but good to see them growing up. Will Harry be recognised as himself?

I was amused to see that Frogabook is still around after 3 years. I wonder what the life span of a magically created creature is? Sam and his family moving away was a sad surprise. He and Harry are such friends and he has been such a big part of the story that I wonder if we will all be surprised by a Hogwarts letter coming to Sam on his birthday.
Author's Response: I assume you meant "Jack" instead of "Sam" ? And I haven't added anything in the story about it yet, but Frogabook doesn't really age for many reasons. Iw ill get around to explaining that eventually :P Jack has been a bit part of Harry's pre-Hogwarts life, yes. Even so, Jack doesn't receive any mail on his birthday, magical or otherwise. I love your story. I love the interaction between Severus and Harry plus the friendship Harry has with Jack. Everyone needs a friend like Jack. I look forward to reading your next chapter.

Poor Jack and Harry. And here they had it all worked out. I can't wait to find out what happens next. I really look forward to it. It would be amusing if they took Jack with to get Harry's school supplies but that would also just enforce the fact that they are being separated.

OMG noooo :( :( Poor Harry and Jack! Can't believe what Jack's parents are like... So hoping that Harry and Jack still stay best of friends! Love reading about them when they're older, can't wait for another update.
Author's Response: Hehe. Yeah, Jack's parents are very nice towards him now, nor will that improve much. Harry and Jack have made a pact to remain friends, so if that happens or not you'll have to wait and see. I'm glad you enjoyed it, and I will update again in a few days. Thanks for the review.
I would love to see Jack get a letter to Hogwarts as well, and then perhaps Jack's family could give guardianship to Severus and Erin.
Author's Response: An interesting comment, though I have already made my decision regarding Jack and am already up to writing Harry at Hogwarts. However, I do think you will like how I have planned things out. Thanks for the review.
Oh this was such a bittersweet chapter! I feel so awful for Jack! He's as much a part of the family as Harry is. And Jack's parents are being really horrible as well! Please please update again soon! I really want to see Harry's transition to Hogwarts!
BTW, I'm not sure what's wrong but your story doesn't show that it's updated.
Author's Response: Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. Jack has sort of become a family member in his own way. And sadly, his parents aren't going to get much nicer yet. The issue with the story not showing as updated has been fixed. I have written ahead, so I will be updating the story again in a few days. Thanks for your review!
