What an excellent and well plotted story! I really loved this. Your Severus, even in his more emotional moments was still totally in character. I liked it hat the Dursleys were brought to a realistic punishment for their treatment of Harry. I felt bad for poor Neville, but although sad it was well written and believable. And, you wrote a Hermione I loved to hate. She has always been my very least liked HP character, with her bossiness and nosiness and interfering in Harry's personal issues. Just once I'd love to read a story where Harry tells Hermione to just sut up and butt out and not apologise for it later. Your Hermione was infuriating, but that's good, you wrote her well, and I was glad to see Severus at least tell her to mind her own business for once. This is definitely one of the better "Nape is Harry's father" stories. Thans for sharing.

Absolutely awesome story. You wonderfully captured Harry's plight and struggles of an abused child. Well done, Sir. My heart was breaking every chapter. Thank you for such a will written story.

Omg this is one of the best story I've ever read. The way you had your characters grow was so realistic and it was done in such a lovly way. You are an excellent writer. Please write more.
Well. Looks like I've just binge-read this entire thing in two days. I remember seeing this story before and reading the first two chapters, but I never finished it because of the length, I guess. But yesterday, I had some free time, and I have to say, I regret I haven't read this sooner. This is definitely one of my favorite fanfics I've read, and it's written very well.

I feel like I want to cry. Not because I am sad but because I am so emotionally wrung out by your tale. You have done such a beautiful job. You portrayed a little boy who wanted to be normal and who was searching for that one adult he could trust above all others; achingly slow but it could not have gone faster.
I am in love with Severus, Harry, Snuffles, and even Remus. I'm still a bit iffy on Sirius but the way you matured him was very well done.
This is a definite favourite.
