Wonderful! i fell sorry for Harry to have his nightmares back. I liked when Harry was explaining to Snape about lies and stuff, if Harry hadn't been so busy ranting and raving and actually looking the expression on Snaoe's face I belive that it would have been funny. I am curious why Drac wants to go into the chamber and also if he does go in, how he is going to get out... bring a broom maybe?
Sorry to say I have no ideas on how the death Eaters will get in, but I can say, however, that this was a stunning chapter!

Yep! I do! You could have the Death Eaters enter the castle by first sending in Ministry Officials who are on Voldemort's side. You could have them be there to have a meeting with Voldemort-and since Lucius Malfoy is on the board of governors you could have one of them use Dumbledore's floo to contact him. In a discussion with the Headmaster-one could say he needs to speak to a board member-and with his head in the floo give the ok to the death eaters to enter. With a charm or the right spell, the Death Eater could open all the Fireplaces in the castle where the rest of Death Eaters could enter and hit the castle by surprise! This could happen when all students are at the Great Hall this way no one sees how they got in. Plus since the Ministry Officials got their answer from their "board member", Prof. Dumbledore would be unable to see what is going on and so not realize what is happening or has happen in front of him. You could also portray the Headmaster as being slightly arrogant by believing no Death Eater would have the gall to send word to attack or attack the school in front of him, and so believe the officials to be innocent. Something Harry does not agree with and feels he needs to find out.
1) They could just storm the castle
2) They could find out somehow about one of the secret passages into the castle from Hogsmead
3) They could charm themselves to breath under water and swim in and under the castle (the way Hagrid takes the first years in boats under the castle via the lake.
4) Polyjuice potion... a death eater could sneak in and then somehow break the Floo wards and bring Death eaters in that way.
5) Another Slytherin who has joined the ranks could fix the vanishing cabinet and let them in.
6) Some of the death eaters could be animagi and sneak into the castle that way.
7) The death eaters could conceal themselves somehow either with potions of the notice-me-not sort or with notice-me-not sort of charms.
8)They could know of or discover some ancient secret entrance from the Forbidden Forest that goes into the dungeons or some other forgotten, lower part of the castle.

I can't wait to find out what Harry got himself into with Draco. There wasn't enough Severus or Toby in this chapter. Will we get to see more S.J.E-Snape correspondence?

thanks for the two chapters! i actually wrote a review after the first one but the website didn't accept it ("Please try again") and I must admit I don't have the patience to deal with all those computer issues and mistakes. So, sorry, you just get one review. I loved the first chapter - the way Harry picked up on the nuances not only about lily but about Snape also, the gift was a brilliant idea and so was your description of Snape's reaction. I have no idea why the headmaster is lying (although you probably have several reasons stashed away) and I loved the way you described that Harry is way more perceptive than Snape ever suspected. I'm also interested about this deal with Draco. Does Draco know about Toby? His "Yeah, I'd say" seems to indicate so. And about the deatheaters getting into Hogwarts without Draco - what about Pettigrew? He was a marauder and knows all the secret passages. And as an animagus he couls pass the wards around the castle - altough if you have him harm Toby I will hate you forever. Maybe he can threaten him and Harry can unleash his temper on him - preferably where Snape can see it... ;-)
Anyway, you'll think of something. Please update again soon!!!

Good chapter. Very confusing in a way, but I guess it'll all work out. I'm assuming that Draco is looking for a way to be friends again?
As for Death Eaters getting in--there's still Parkinson and Nott and I bet at least one of them caught on about the room of requirement. Also, there might be a way through the forest. Hmm...
