Ah, Harry whump. I do so love. And of course that it was Snape who finally realized and broke through the glamours, and how he used Occlumency (and the fact that at this point in time Harry didn’t know what it was), and the promise that he’ll never return to Surrey. A good read!
Dudley is absolutely diabolical in this story. Snape’s reassurance was a wonderful soothing balm at the end.
Oh, my. I do t think I’ve ever read such a sadistic Dudley. Brilliantly done.

An excellent interpretation of what might have happened should Dudley have been left alone with Harry, and in charge. I've been a bit weary of reading Dursley-Abuse fics recently, as many of them seem over the top, with rather ridiculous, far-too-fast recoveries/rescue attempts.
This, however, was wonderful. Especially Harry's reluctance to tell the truth, even in the face of undeniable evidence.
I'm glad that Snape's reassurances didn't fall on deaf ears.
This deserves to be expanded. You've got a solid foundation - build on it.

Great story perhaps you could continue it?
This is amazingly in-character, I can see every single event unfolding flawlessly in my head. I loved it when Snape was assuring Harry he wouldn't go back to the Dursleys, it was sweet, but managed not to stray into OOC territory.
