I like the thought of Harry taking out his anger and guilt on the weeds. I've been known to do that myself and there is a certain satisfaction in it. Harry's shower after the incident with Voldemort makes sense, too. It would be hard to feel clean after that.

I'm very sorry to hear about your brother, I can't imagine what that feels like. I'm sure everyone is in agreeyance when I say don't worry about updates. Don't feel rushed and take your time.
Btw that last chapter was awesome and I love Harry and Snapes relationship.

A great beginning, Missyanne! It's very believable how Harry feels contaminated from his own guilt, though of course he's wrong. It's sad how he is trying to use the abuse from the Dursleys as a means of atonement, even though he has nothing to atone for, poor kid.
A wonderful beginning!
