I am so sorry to hear about your brother! I know that I don't know you guys, but I will be praying for him.
I just wanted to stop by and tell you how wonderful this story is. It's one of my absolute favorite Severus/Harry father/son stories. This chapter especially made my heart melt at the end.
Also, I like this:

"Harry, I have no intention of letting you go off half-cocked on some damn-fool Gryffin…"
"Dad, please!"
That was all it took. One plea from Harry and a look of desperation from behind those damn emerald eyes, and suddenly the fight had left Severus' body.

It is great fun to get to see our favorite fearsome potions master be undone by something so simple :) Gotta love daddy Sev.
Very, very well done on this so far. I've been reading for months now, and am so excited to see where this goes! Thanks for sticking with it!

Next, I totally dig that you have Harry blackmailing Severus. It's amusing to no end, which brings up another question. Refresh my memory, did Harry tell Sev what a certain hat told him?
