I’m so sorry this was never finished, although I started reading knowing that, so I can’t complain.
With regards to how the story plays out: Severus accidentally legilimised Harry when he lost control with Malfoy and knows some of what’s been going on. Poppy runs a full scan and the evidence stacks up. Surreptitious investigation identifies other children - including Neville - who have been targeted by the predator. In response, Severus uses his knowledge of poisons - and antidotes - to ensure the exceedingly painful, long-term torture of Roger the Monster, and we get to hear lots about it. Like, LOTS. In great detail. Of course, Severus also shows Harry that caring adults can be trusted.
The end.

I really like this story! I want to know why all the adults are suddenly acting strange. Do they suspect Jenkins? It wouldn't surprise me if Severus loosened the tie and undid the buttons to find a hickie or something on his neck. Hopefully this bodes well for an improved relationship between Harry and Severus!
I'm so confused lol, loving the update and hoping I'll be less confused next chapter ;)
