She was the one adult who should've looked into his bad behavior and she didn't. I think it was permanently broken when she told him that she hated him too. That trust has been broken, and I seriously doubt that it can be repaired, because he'll never believe her again. I know this is fanfiction but as I read this I started crying... which I don't normally do.
