I liked it.... Definitely different with the present tense, but very well done. I should have known Dumbledore was behind it... :)

Very well written. I think you succeeded in making it almost poetic. Good ending, too, although I usually like things spelled out for me. But this was well done.

Wow, this was very well done! I thought you did a fabulous job so no worries at all. The ending was great, but it certainly left the reader hoping for more.. No chance that there'll be another chapter following this one? (pretty please!)

I thought the present tense format worked well, even though it was a rather action-packed tale (for some reason most present tense stories tend to be more introspective).
Some of my favorite moments: Vernon Dursley's verbal bullying of Harry and Snape's intervention; Draco protecting Hermione, and finally Dumbledore... although if any of the parents ever find out he brought a dragon into the school "for the greater good", I imagine he'll find himself in quite hot water!

Very intriguing! And you caught me by surprise with the last paragraph, where it all was attributable to Dumbledore's manipulations.
He was darn fortunate that it did work out. Something like that could have led to far worse an outcome than it did. And I'm outraged that he didn't seem to care about the students that had been injured, nor how Minerva could have died had she landed the wrong way. I hate to think about what kind of damage a concussed witch or wizard could do if they lost control of their magic due to the damage done to the brain from an impact like that. Hmmm. That sounds like a plot dementor sneaking up on me. Hmmmm.
In any case, I do enjoy your stories and I love how you experiment with different writing styles and explore various interpretations of the characters. Well done! :)
