Ron, I've noticed, is chillest and most open-minded when worried about Harry and how he's been treated over the summer. So, I think his reaction fit, especially because he really realized after the First Task that Harry really doesn't have a life to be jealous of; and afterward is generally a very forgiving person, even when it comes to people who've been horrid to him for years; Draco, Snape, even Dudley in canon.
I love when Harry first comes up with the business idea that Draco just laughs, like "what? You're terrible at potions!".
Also, that explosion was long in coming.
Yep, just blurt it out there, in the middle of the night, laying on the cold stone floor, right after he woke up from a nightmare.
I admit, I giggled. It was such an inelegant way for the reveal to happen. No drama, or yelling or denial. It wasn't what I was expecting, but it was awesome.
I hate how often Harry has to be biologically related to Snape for him to be decent, but at the same time it works so and maybe too well because Snape's biggest problem with him is an old grudge against his dad. I'm loving this story. I wasn't sure about it with the whole 'unforgivable Sirius' thing, but I'm really interested.
