This was sad but hopeful.

Poor Harry; nothing's every easy for him is it? I like to see an expanded version of this, and yet at the same time it works really well as the short story. There's enough structure and hints at what went on that my brain fills in the blanks. And though there are questions, that's not a bad thing. I really like this story.

I like the idea. Its a shame you didn't have time to expand it, but as your last sentence 'better than none',and it didn't feel too much like a drabble.
Aw, this was a nice story, but the ending was sad.
Great job, and thanks for sharing this with us! =)
This was a really good idea for a story and you wrote it well! Wish you'd had a bit more time to write more on it!
Really original and well written!
I love the last part, particularly the last line. It's very poignant. Thank you for a wonderful piece!
Can I ask if they were actually biologically related or if it was something that happened when Severus was saved? Is Severus living with Harry or Harry living with Severus? What will happen in the future? Where does Severus go in his mind?
Author's Response: Hey! Thanks so much for the review! It gives me purpose on days where nothing goes right. :)
Well, in my mind Severus and Harry was never biologically related, so ... yeah. Living arrangements though; I'd always thought Dumbledore would have given them a new home to call theirs -- new beginnings and all.
The future though. Now that's for you to fill in the blanks, 'cause I didn't really go that far.
As for Severus, who knows where he goes in his mind. He's Severus, the enigma. (Though I think he probably goes back to his horrendous past-- Voldemort and Tobias and all. )
Sorry for the late response! and THANKS AGAIN! *this made my day*
