I didn't envy Harry, having to go down into catacombs of the dead in the middle of the night. Finding the bodies of the children would be especially unnerving. This McTavish sounds even worse than his brother. I was on the edge of my seat waiting to find out what would happen to Harry during that one.
Author's Response: Yes, this McTavish is much worse, eh? Seemingly refined to the high society people, but with plenty of dark secrets. Glad to hear the suspense was good! Thanks for reviewing. :)
I think I'd hide under the blankets too. I kept expecting McTavish's hand to grasp Harry's shoulder all the way through the chapter, even when he was concealed behind the tapestry. But it's nice that Snape is revealing his caring side again.
Author's Response: Yes, Snape is showing his caring side. It's easier for him when he is not talking face to face with Harry ... Anyway, thanks for reviewing!
