It’s excellent that Snape is teaching Harry how to apparate. I love how Harry is trying to ease Snape into Harry’s hoped for role as father and son, as if Snape can’t see that coming from a mile away.
Amazing, action-packed chapter. I love how you highlighted all the strangeness around Sirius’s behavior leading up to the confrontation, his offer, and even attire. And I love the watcher in the shadows.
It makes perfect sense that Harry would want to scrutinize the Marauders Map with care upon learning that it belonged to his father— and that in doing so would make certain discoveries. I loved the chapter end!
I feel heartened and relieved that Harry has won back Snape’s trust. Terrific chapter, as always.
The great circles are a fascinating concept to include in this story. I’m really looking forward to seeing how they are used. I love how you’ve given Harry the mental capacity to put some puzzle pieces together and draw the right conclusions from them on his own.
I love that you’ve created such a familiarity with Snape’s home in Lower Tarrow that I felt a sense of loss along with Harry when his trunk was packed and his transfigured bed disappeared. Thanks for another wonderful chapter full of wit and rich detail.
You’ve written Snape brilliantly. His comments are hilarious.
Great chapter! I loved the Nintendo and the lessons.
I’m back for a re-read, and am really enjoying it. I appreciate all the details, like Harry seeing Marge floating off in the distance, Snape’s cold, and Harry’s experience of coffee. They add a delicious richness to the characters and setting.
Great story! I really enjoyed it
