I'm so glad that Hermione and Snape are starting to open up to each other and bonding somewhat.
I can't wait though for more Snape and Harry bonding too.

I liked it a lot. Hermione is one of our prisoners, too, and deserves her time in the story. The wine and memory sharing through the albums was a nice way for them both to come to terms with their losses and get to know each other more.

A truly wonderful chapter. Although I'm a "as much as possible Harry Snape interaction" fan normally, I greatly enjoyed this. You simply have a way of spotting character's chemistry be it Harry and Snape or any of the others.
It was a nice way to bring Hermione and Severus nearer and tell tales of past times as well.

This was a nice chapter but i have to say i'm upset that severus choices to talk to hermione about lily when harry barley knows anything about her. Unlike Severus and Hermione harry never got to know his parents they died when he was a baby and he was told lies for a long time till he was 11 about them and even now he knows very little about them. I think harry needs to have a talk to severus about his mom. I understand that you needed to work on hermoine's plot but i don't like how severus hasn't told harry about his mother. I feel like it would bring them closer, I just feel sorry for him. I like how even when the whole chapter is pretty much about hermione shes still in character good job!
Author's Response: I can see where you're coming from. The way I see it though, is that Severus is still afraid to tell Harry he knew his mother, seeing as he played such a huge part in her death. He's terrified Harry will find that out, and that he will hate him for it, especially now that he and Harry have gotten close. He'll come around eventually though. Thanks for the feedback! I am glad that you thought Hermione was in character.
