Reviews For Prisoners
Author's Response: Great to hear!
great but evil cliffhanger :) please update soon i love this fic Author's Response: Great question, snapefan 17! If I were Moody, I would tell you that that kind of thinking would make you a pretty good Auror ... All things aside, I am glad you are enjoying this story so much, and thank you for the review!
I'm curious to know what Harry was seeing. Severus really is becoming important to Harry and a solid parental-type figure. I really hope that these three can become a family--that is i Harry doesn't get squashed by the big tree--you evil, yet brilliant girl. Can't wait till next week. Author's Response: Ah yes, I imagine quite a few are curious about Harry's little sighting there. They would make a nice family, that is for sure. As for Harry getting *totally* squashed by a tree ... that would be a pretty grisly way to end this. Harry got crushed like a pancake - the end! Yeah. I have yet to descend to those depths of evil. Thank you so much for your review!
Author's Response: Hmm, good questions! Yay for patience! Although, I admit, had I been reading this rather than writing this, I would not have been so patient! So well done, haha. ;) Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: Haha, I guess I really must have made you mad it you left your first review to tell me just how evil I am! Don't worry, the next chapter will be up like clockwork next Thursday (I know, I know, it isn't right away!). So ... sorry to cause you agony ... but a little editing is requred for the next chapter, and I want to work out some kinks! As for Harry coming out perfectly alright and building all that suspense for nothing ... I shall only vaguely tell you that things shall come of this event, good and bad. So I suppose it will not be an event that has no effect. Thank you so much for sticking with this story, although I seem to be thanking you in a rather awful way through this horrid cliff hanger ... Cheers!
Author's Response: Great to hear you liked the usage of the grim! Thanks for reviewing!
Author's Response: Hmm, yes, it was rash. Thanks for reviewing.
Author's Response: Thanks Pichu! If it had to be one word, I am glad you chose this one! ;)
Doggone you Whitetail. My poor nails may be nibbled to nubs in a week. :-/ In other words, "great chapter!" Author's Response: Haha, maybe you can get some really sticky toffee and cement your teeth together to keep from gnawing on your poor nails over this cliffhanger! Great to hear you liked the chapter CeeCeeMee!
The atmosphere you draw into your stories might well be my favorite thing about them. You excelled, once again. Perhaps one of the most brilliant moments was Harry's reaction to the storm outside--that facing his fear and staring at the lightning made him feel alive. Reading that, I remembered feeling the same way at times when I was younger, and very much terrified of storms after a microburst targeted my yard and traumatized me. But there is something so awe-inspiring about a natural force that can be so terrifying and beautiful, and it was very poignant, your use of it to express Harry's feelings. Great job!! Author's Response: Wow, thank you so much for the feedback! I am glad you liked Harry's lightning scene. Yikes, that sounds like a pretty scary event you witnessed!! Oddly enough I've never been afraid of lightning, even though my Grandfather has been struck before (arced through the stove pipe when he was a kid and hit him) and got his eyebrows burned off in another near miss where lightning went through his bedroom window. Tonnes of other family members have had near misses with electricity too ... weird. Storms are so awe inspiring though, no doubt. I am so pleased to hear you liked the atmosphere. I had to work really hard at it in this chapter. I worried it would be too sudden or out of the blue when the storm hits and all the other stuff happens. Anyway, thanks again for reviewing tess4aria! |
