Author's Response: Me too.
Author's Response: Thank you! And thank you for the review!
Author's Response: Sometimes we need time away to heal, perhaps Harry needs to heal too.
Harry is a complete pain who needs a reality check. He seems to be living in his own version of reality and so is his mothers ghost. It's a nice touch to point out that Lily became as prejudiced and bigoted as the rest of the Marauders and had the potential to be as big a bully as her husband. Please do a sequel to show how Harry and Snape have progressed. Maybe 20 years down the line Harry will be tied to a marriage/career he hates but still has to follow public expectations, while Snape has followed his own path and is happy. I always felt that Harry was railroaded into marrying Ginny because she looked like his mother. Surely someone would have commented on it appearing a bit incestuous. Overall, it's given lots of food for thought and the potential for (lots) more. It's also a nicer ending as I read a similar fic where Snape was forced to stay on at Hogwarts and share his memories of Lily with Harry, which drove him to commit suicide. On a lighter note, can you imagine Hermione's reaction if she found out that the bullied ex students had founded their own school, which was better than Hogwarts educationally? After all, Hogwarts only seems to survive due to history and habit (kids attending because their parents attended). Author's Response: Ah... But what his mum and him should know what is right, should they not? They are and have always been on the side of the light.
*snickers and rolls her eyes*
Anyhow, now that is out of my system, I was thinking about your suggestion. Maybe in the future?
Somehow I got the feeling when I re-read the books that though Severus was genuine in his apology, Lily didn't see it.
*shrugs*
Actually, talking about the story you read earlier, I have on.... Well you'll just have to wait and see!
Your last suggestion, totally!
Author's Response: Thanks! I was worried about posting this one because people tend to characterize Harry as being very understanding a giving.
Personally I agree, good for Snape to stand up for himself!
Thanks for the review!
I found this to be a very interesting story. It seems that Harry feels comfortable being close to Snape in some ways, but also Harry's character is more flawed. He is demanding, pig-headed... I'm sure Snape would agree. Thanks for the story. Very unique. Author's Response: It might be a control thing. Perhaps searching for that one connection to his parents. There is a hint to exactly why he believes Severus should stay at Hogwarts (aka in Harry's life) I believe in the conversation between "Minerva" and Harry.
Thank you so much for your review! It made me smile!
Author's Response: Hehehe... I agree. I wrote most of this in response to all the stories where Harry and Sev develop a great relationship with each other right after the battle and Severus continues teaching. Somehow Sev has never struck me, at least not this personality of Sev, as a person who enjoys teaching students in the lower grades; if at all.
As accident proned as Harry is, I suspect they'll meet up in the distant future, but I suspect Harry won't be happy!
