A fantastic piece with just enough madness, I really hope to see a sequel

Wow. That was certainly an interesting first chapter! What a different way to get rid of Quirrell. I was on the edge of my seat waiting for what would happen next. I loved the description of the thrones - perfect for each observer. The addition of Lily and James forgiving Severus and making him Harry's guardian was a nice part of the story, too. I'm glad Snape got foreclosure. Can't wait to see what tradition that Christmas holds.

well damn that was a unique twist on house harry figts the dark lord s would they be horcruxes? and greaves. I loved this. christmas sequil?
So is Harry like a vampire except that he doesn't need blood?
Author's Response: I hadn't considered it in those terms at all. I see it more as magical exhaustion combined with needing a visual symbol (the coffin) to remind people what really happened on Halloween night, in his view at least. Up in the tower he would not have used any of his 'Throne Charms', not even the blue couch and coffin one. He did say he would have preferred to wait until his second year to do this publicly.
